Christmas Letter from Aunt Betty and Uncle Leo Pendleton

Aunt Betty and Uncle Leo Pendleton
Aunt Betty is Grandpa Porter's (Melvin Porter's) sister.

This is our Christmas letter this year! We have loved hearing from so many of you and look forward to hearing from all of you! Isn't email wonderful to send our love and greetings without worrying about getting to the Post Office an fighting the crowd??
We are doing wonderfully well in St. George! Yes, it did SNOW in st. George! We got 8 inches and life down here came to a standstill! They even cancelled church! We really smiled about that as we thought about Star Valley and realized it could be -20 degrees, snowing blowing blizzardy and church would still go on! So we had fun with that. But truly they have NO snow removal equipment and, so they just really slow down.
A friend took our picture in the snow so we are sending that along and I took Leo's picture when we were in Herriman for Thanksgiving. It was fun because the picture was taken on our new Christmas present from Linda &Dewayne. It has been so fun trying to learn the I Pad world that all of you are probably GuRu's at. Yes! We are LOVING it!
Now, it is Christmas and we are so blest with many occasions to enjoy the Christmas Spirit!
Blessing galore have come our way. We are ever grateful for the many blessings and miracles that make our sorrows and our rejoicings a great part of life!
We went to a wonderful Christmas presentation and this poem was on their program. I loved it! Hope you will enjoy it too.
LOOKING FOR THE CHRIST
We are all looking for the ChristChild.
While tending our flocks or journeying afar
We seek that which will make us whole,
That which knows and loves us beyond measure.
Let us stand still for a moment and listen.
In the breath and soul of us is a rhythm that is HOLY.
In the quiet reflection is the gentle reminder
That we are and always have been HIS!!!
-Suzanne Brooking
We are blessed to have a wonderful family of six children, six wonderful spouses, 27 fantastic grand children, and 32 magnificent great grand children with 3 more on the way! How blessed is that? Are we prejudice? Don't answer that! Life is good!!
We recall our own heritage and rejoice at their willingness to sacrifice their all for the Gospel and their religion and their families! How blessed we are to be free to celebrate the birth of the Savior according to our hearts desire! It is deeply humbling as we witness our family cherishing those same things! We are grateful for their testimonies, as well as our own.
Our Best to You! God Bless You Always!!! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!!!

Much love,
Leo and Betty how do I get my pictures in an email No answer how do I get my pictures in the body all man email?
Oh, my goodness I just realized I can speak to this I Pad and it will print what I say! I was asking how to get pictures on this and my words appeared. Fun, Fun, Fun!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

How grateful we are to let the sightsw, sounds, feelings and love of the Christmas seasonenter our hearts.  We love to witness the JOY of the seasonand let the giving and caring Spirit of Christmas penetrate our very lives.

Each year we are filled with the wonder of Him whose birthday it is.  We remember Him!  We love Him!  We want desparately to be like Him!

As we witness the lives of family and dear friends, we are satisfied that your desires are the same.  Each of your lives constantly INSPIRE us!  YIou have, in so many instances shown us a better way.  You have motivated us and caused us to want to become more like the Savior.  THis the quest for each of us and it is the quest of a lifetime!  God bless each of us in this effort.  We know that He will.  We know that God lives and loves us.  We know that Jesus is the Christ and God's only begotten Son -- the Redeemer of the world.  We know that through membership in His kingdom we are given the Holy Ghost, and this gift has worked miracles for each of us.  We are SO GRATEFUL!!!

May we always remember these truths and remember our quest --  who we are, what we stand for and where we are going.  We love you all so very much!!!  We are grateful -- ever grateful,  for each of you and your example to us.  THANKS!!!

OUR BEST TO YOU __  GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS __ AND MERRY CHRISTMASS 2012!!!

Hallie's Adoption and Sealing

Hello family,

We are finalizing our adoption this next Tuesday and then will be going to the Idaho Falls Temple to do the sealing the following Saturday which is the 18th at 12:30.

If you would like to come you are all welcome. But need to know so they can reserve the appropriate size sealing room. You need to be there by 12:00.

We will be taking a few pictures afterward but have chosen to not have a big luncheon afterwards. We will be doing a celebration with Hallie that evening with just our family.

We're excited about this and finally she is going to be ours:).

Please RSVP if you plan on coming to my email: mlwach@msn.com. If I dont hear anything I wont be planning on you:)

We love you all!

Love your sis

PS... Jean would you mind putting this on the blog?
